This past month I have shared some really deep and hard things so… I want to take this week and lighten things up a bit! Those who know me well know I love to laugh, have fun and shop!!! I seriously enjoy shopping more than I should and I have made it my mission to find clothing that I love and represents me well! As a curvy woman, it was so hard to find nice clothing that wouldn’t make me look the same age as my mother (Hi Mom, I love you!). However, in recent years the plus size clothing industry has really boomed and has acknowledged the curvy market (now if we could just get them to put all our clothes on the same racks and sides of the stores as non-curvy girls I’d be happy). I don’t know what it is but I have had many curvy women approach me asking where I shop and where I find such cute pieces for girls “our size.” So, when I find something I love I have to share it because that’s what girlfriends do!
This week is dedicated to a new clothing brand I just tried and love! It’s called Piphany and you can only purchase it through a Piphany Stylist online. Two and a half years ago people selling clothes online seemed odd to me but after selling clothes myself I have learned these are some of the hardest working women you will meet and the best part is they work their businesses because they want to not because they have to! So if you haven’t supported a small business like the one I am about to introduce you to I hope this helps you reconsider!
Meet Celeste. 
Celeste is a Piphany Stylist and the owner of Celeste’s Pretty Little happy Place Featuring Piphany and has been in the clothing business for a couple years now. Celeste and I met selling clothes about two years ago and I am so grateful for her. While my husband and I are looking to venture into a new season away from being small business owners we have appreciated the relationships that were built. Celeste is one of them. This young woman is a mom of two, a wife and she works full time outside of her Piphany clothing business and Pretty Little Chop Shop earrings business (which you can win a pair of her earrings so stay tuned). She is a woman with many hats, dresses and earrings (PUN intended…Ok, that was lame but I still made myself laugh).
When Celeste joined Piphany she had so many great things to say about the clothing….I, of course, wanted to know what sizes they carry because honestly, I am so happy you found cute clothes but if we can’t shop together please tell me now to prevent my heart from aching. When she told me they carried sizes up to 3XL I was ecstatic! Another company gets it! They get me *insert standing ovation* and I was a happy shopper. So, we decided to partner together (this is not a paid sponsorship but there are some clothing perks) in order to provide ladies of many sizes with cute clothing that’s affordable and trendy.
Here is my new favorite dress from Celeste’s Pretty Little Happy Place. 
It’s called Brea. It’s soft. It’s flowy. IT. HAS. POCKETS! POCKETS!!!! I love that I can pair it with leggings and a pair of booties (booties are from Charlotte Russe) in the fall and once Spring comes I can nix the leggings and it will still be super cute!
What I love about clothing like this is its made to look great on any body type. Celeste and I are on the opposite end of the size charts and yet we both look just as fabulous in the Brea! I was excited to wear it and I received lots of compliments on it so I know I’m not the only one who loves this dress.
I did have another outfit (pants and a top) that I planned on photographing for you but it didn’t fit. You see, Piphany’s sizing is pretty accurate and since I’ve had trouble with sizing before I assumed ordering the larger size would work only to find out the clothes WERE TOO BIG! WHAT????? That doesn’t happen often so I’ll gladly update that outfit and I will have pictures for you as soon as those pieces are in.
Because Celeste’s business is not your typical brick and mortar, things run a little differently. Piphany releases ten new styles a month so there are always new styles coming in and are made readily available. Also, some styles are recut and/or the prints/colors are changed based on popularity, trends and seasons. Weekly, Celeste posts what the launches are and what styles are for sale with pictures of the patterns and colors that are available. She may have shared that the Brea Dress, shown in the pictures above is being recut and is launching this Wednesday so get ready cause it looks like there are going to be more pockets dresses to come!
